Re: The Superbike Accessories Thread

Get the Osram 110 Nightracer, you have to get them from abroad though as no one in India has them. Not Nightbreaker but Nightracer, good increase in the lights

Bikenbiker offers them with warranty at rates only slightly higher than the Ali Express rates.

Yet to see a stock replacement bulb which is adequate! So no recommendations there.
I have Gold runway on my bike for the past two years. They are very effective and good. Certainly recommended..

Hello guys,

Can someone please guide me if these are the right specifications for the 2015 Tiger XRX :

Front Brake Pads (EBC)

Rear Brake Pads (EBC)

Hello Killjoy, thanks for your suggestion. you are right - I couldn't find the Osram Nightracer in India. Could you please guide me through the right replacement bulb for the Tiger.

Re: The Superbike Accessories Thread

The pads should work for you bike. Great pads for the price and with your braided lines you will get improved bite.

Call up Motousher once ... he will guide you towards the correct pads for your bike. EBC has pretty competitive pricing in India - so you can just buy locally.

Re: The Superbike Accessories Thread

Thank you for your help guys. I have ordered the EBC brake pads and the Osram Nightracer bulb.

Am now looking to change the spark plugs. According to the Triumph website, the NGK CR9EK are the standard plugs for the Tiger 800.

NGK also has an Iridium Spark Plug - CR9EIX - available for the Tiger 800.

Can anyone advise which one of the above I should go for? Or any suggestions on alternate brands?

The iridium plugs. They have a longer change interval of 40,000 kms at the least, and needs no gapping. I have used them.

The standard plugs need to be changed out every 24k. The iridiums are the upgraded version.

Re: The Superbike Accessories Thread

Ironically I am looking for plugs for my bike also. I am leaning towards stock. The iridium really hit my gas milage. And frankly all those benefits they say of easy start and improved acceleration is mostly marketing material.
Not necessary that the standard last any less than stock. I am changing my standard after 45 thousand kms on one bike and on my other bike the iridiums lasted 30000.
Basically get the ones you can get quickly and are cheaper.

Hi buddy, where do you procure the pads and bulbs from, Motousher or some other source? I am also looking to change these on my 2015 XRx.

Killjoy - thanks for your suggestion. These bulbs are amazing - the illumination is fantastic and the beam is well spread. Will post some night time pics. I am sure without the headlight protector it maybe brighter. Will check it out without the protector too.
