2017 Suzuki Hayabusa launched in India; gets new colours

Suzuki has launched the 2017 Hayabusa in India with three new colours: Glass Sparkle Black / Pearl Glacier White (AGT), Pearl Vigor Blue / Glass Sparkle Black (BBD) and Glass Sparkle Black (YVB). The Hayabusa is priced at Rs. 13,88,329 (ex-showroom Delhi).

Suzuki started locally assembling the bike in India from March 2016. This helped the Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer to price the Hayabusa at around Rs. 2.5 lakh cheaper than the earlier model which used to be imported through the CBU route.

The Hayabusa is powered by a 1,340cc, liquid-cooled, 4-cylinder, 4-stroke engine that is reported to churn out around 194 BHP and 154 Nm of torque. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. There are also plans to introduce a supercharged version of the Hayabusa in the future.

Costs 16,20,000 on road outside octroi Pune!

Bring out the Gen 3 already, Suzuki. Having said that you still cant go wrong with the old girl. Extremely comfortable, very versatile and bullet proof reliability. Above all brutally fast. If someone was holding back this is the time to take the plunge. This is more bike than the 99.99% of the riding population will ever need.
