Indian Roadmaster Classic listed on company's India website

Indian Motorcycles had internationally unveiled a new variant in the Roadmaster luxury cruiser series a few months back. Called the Roadmaster Classic, this new model comes with a few feature additions as compared to the regular Roadmaster. It has now been listed on the company's Indian website, indicating that an official India launch is expected sometime in the future.

The Roadmaster Classic gets three new colour schemes - Thunder Black, Willow Green over Ivory Cream and Red over Ivory Cream. Feature additions made on this new variant include a 7-inch 'Rider Command' infotainment touchscreen system, which comes with USB, Bluetooth and radio connectivity as well as navigation support. The infotainment screen also shows all relevant riding data and stats to the rider. Other standard features offered with the Roadmaster Classic include tyre pressure monitoring system, heated seats and grips, leather seats and saddle bags, 100 watt sound system, cruise control, LED lights and keyless ignition.

The Indian Roadmaster Classic is 2,630 mm long, 1,001 mm wide (with the saddle bags) and 1,491 mm tall. The wheelbase spans 1,668 mm, while the seat height is 673 mm. It has a ground clearance of 140 mm.

Powering the Indian Roadmaster Classic is a 1,811 cc 'Thunder-Stroke' V-twin air cooled engine. The India-spec model will churn out around 135 Nm of torque, which is slightly lower than the torque output of 161.6 Nm on the international-spec model.

Though Indian Motorcycles hasn't announced a specific launch date for the Roadmaster Classic, it is expected to be launched by the end of this year.
