Planning to get all the protection for the n1000 but sadly nothing is available off the shelf from Kawasaki as of now.
I feel the company should have released the accessories also along with the bike. Can anyone point from where i can buy the accessories for n1000???

I think local sites like bikegear, etc should have what you need. If you wish to stick to OEM, then you'll have to wait or choose some international sites that offer India shipping like revzilla, etc.

Hearty congratulations on your Ninja 1000, ashroy_6! :)
By the way, how much did the helmet cost you? Did Amazon take care of the logistics or someone carried it down for you from Japan?

And, an off-topic question: Outside temperature is 21 degrees? I thought Hyderabad was a hot place!!

Thanks buddy.. The helmet costed me 32000 rs/- all inclusive including freight and customs. Took 3 days flat from japan to india.

Hyderabad climate is quite pleasant and since it has been raining, the temperature has come down.

That is one good looking bike and a great choice of color. Looks mean!!
Hope to take a look at it in person, provided you come for the next TBHP Hyderabad meet :)

Congrats Ashroy! She's a beauty no matter which angle you look at it. Black color suits the bike and some credit to the photographer as well for those crisp and sharp images which make the bike stand out.

Regarding accessories, if you want OEM Kawasaki accessories call Kawasaki Chandigarh and speak to Rishi if your local dealer does not have any stock. I got a OEM product from them when the Mumbai dealer did not have it in stock.

Be careful when ordering rear spools for usage of paddock stand, I have heard feedback in international forums that the size of the spools matter a lot as they touch the exhaust and damage it if you happen to go over some bad bumps.

Do let us know how the tires are performing when you munch more miles. Many N1K owners tend to change the rear tire profile from 190/50 to 190/55 which makes the bike much more agile in turns.

Keep those updates flowing and enjoy the ride :)

Many Congratulations ashroy. Wishing you years and years of safe and enjoyable riding with the bike. I was in the same boat as you and after weeks of deliberation and research, finally put my money today on the Ninja 1000, albeit in Green! Maybe nearing 50 makes a man a little younger at heart... Lolz. The Black is definitely drool worthy. I also liked the soon to be launched Ducati Supersport but eventually the Ninja 1000 won as a overall package for the price. Will be keeping a sharp eye on your thread for more details and pros and cons so that we can share notes eventually, when I get the delivery of my bike month or two down the line. Would like your feedback on those Dunlops too as it is supposedly a weak point. Any suggestions would be most welcome.

Once again Happy and Safe Riding. Cheers...

Congrats Ashroy on the lovely bike. Its indeed a sport-tourer (with more bias to Sporty) that is real value for money in that segment in India today. For the features provided on the N1000, the direct competition is no where close in that price range. And of course you get the rock solid Kawasaki reliability.

Maybe after a few long rides, if you feel the necessity to upgrade/modify the seat or windshield you could then tweak it based on your individual preference.

Ride safe and wish you many many miles of happy biking:thumbs up

Congratulations Ashroy, the bike looks amazing! The pictures has been tastefully taken as well. Nothing beats the N1000 now, fantastic value for money. I can only imagine your joy, wish you many happy miles ahead. Please post your feedback on the tyres. Great choice over the Z900, everything is superior, surprised to see the powerful lights.

Indeed it's a beauty :)

Congratulations on the new acquisition. None of the other litre class bikes is offering the features and Kawasaki reliability at this price point.

I hope the machine will keep you happy and busy for next couple of years !

Happy riding !

Please check on the radiator guard in more detail. atul.ktm mentions the ones from aliexpress were not very effective in preventing damage in his ownership thread

Thanks for the concern. I have bought many accessories from AliExpress, even for my Heritage Softail and all of them have turned out to be quite good. The radiator grill seems to be made from SS but in a severe hit I doubt even if the original radiator grill may protect properly. Case of bad luck perhaps.

Here's another one in SS - Black For Kawasaki Z800 Z1000 Z1000SX Z750 Motorbike Stainless Steel Radiator Grille Guard Cover Protector

BTW Atul's bike did not have any radiator guard attached when it was hit.

Cheers...
