Spotted this outside of Toast and Tonic on Richmond road Bangalore. He looked extremely similar to the guy in the video above. Coming to the bike, it sounded brilliant on start-up. The exhaust note was absolutely awesome. I don't think the owner had any aftermarket tips on.

The guy in the Video said he has put Akrapovic full system exhaust on his bike though.

Right person for the ad - however not everyone is aware that Akshay Kumar has a previous gen Africa Twin - I guess the older AT was a 750 V Twin.

In the new advertisement, there are so many holes in his jeans that people will think he has just crashed the bike

The target market for this bike is a mature rider, who knows superbikes and gear and stuff. Honda could have promoted the serious adv aspect in the ad by outfitting the hero with proper gear.

But the bollywood funda of advertising to the lowest common denominator of human intelligence is insulting to a bike designed for around the world overlanding.

Yes. Bangalore dealer has delivered a few in the recent weeks. One was picked up by a Bangalore Team Bhp'ian as well, though he seems to have kept the news off the forums.

Took delivery last weekend at Pashankar Honda Pune. Will put some detailed pictures later. Have just clocked 40 km as its still on Temp plates.

EDIT - start an ownership thread. It will be more appropriate for people looking to purchase this machine in India - also from the DCT standpoint.
