| ![]() Triumph has a good advantage of being able to structure its prices with full visibility to the mid order GS prices. I spoke with BMW yesterday and they are working towards coming up with the on road prices (I'm sure part of also means figuring out how to spec the. India variants). Triumph will go in with the distinct advantage of having sight of those prices while making their own announcements. Poor BMW - they already declared the ex - showroom just before the CBU announcement - otherwise they might hav been able to play around a bit more with pricing. |

Yes true. That is what the BMW dealer also indicated to me. I also believe that instead of STD, Dynamic and Pro, they might just only go with STD and Pro - no Dynamic. I expect there to be a good 2.5 odd lakh price difference between the two variants of std and pro for any given GS.

Hearing that there is a lot of customer interest generated for the 850 GS. Triumph will need to take their time and make their move carefully.

Team-BHP Support ![]() ![]() | ![]() 2018 Tiger 800 launched - ![]() Tiger 800 XR - INR 11.76 L Tiger 800 XRx - INR 13.13 L Tiger 800 XCx - INR 13.76 L Source - https://auto.ndtv.com/news/2018-triu...6-lakh-1826637 Pretty competitive prices for now, though not very much trying to undercut the newly launched midsize motorrads. XCx goes against 850GS. And priced also same. 750GS is priced right in between XR and XRx. I guess features wise also its similar. BMW hasn't reduced prices post import duty reduction - so a good fight on the cards. Customers have never had more choices. ![]() |

I see them missing even on the top-line variants.

| ![]() Congratulations. I absolutely love the Tigers. The new 1200 is also stunningly priced, heavily undercutting the 1200 GSs. What exactly does the XRX retail at in Bangalore? 15.5ish on road? |

Distinguished - BHPian ![]() ![]() | ![]() Congratulations NIP! Love this color. Really suits the Tiger. I don't know if its me - but I found the new Tiger a bit slimmer than the outgoing one (especially in the last pic). Waiting for a detailed Ownership thread! |
