Ducati has launched the special edition 959 Panigale Corse in India. The superbike is priced at Rs. 15.20 lakhs (ex-showroom) and bookings are now open.



The 959 Panigale Corse is based on an aluminium monocoque. It has a wheelbase of 1,431 mm and a seat height of 830 mm. The bikes comes with a 17-litre fuel tank.



In terms of styling, the Corse version is similar to the standard 959 Panigale. It features the Ducati Corse livery inspired by Ducati's MotoGP bike and gets alloy wheels finished in black. It has twin LED headlamps, LCD instrument cluster, stepped seat and an underbody exhaust. It features adjustable Ohlins suspension at the front and an aluminium double-sided swingarm at the rear with an Ohlins adjustable monoshock.



The 959 Panigale Corse is powered by a 955cc, 2-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that delivers 148 BHP @ 10,500 rpm and peak torque of 102 Nm @ 9,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox via a slipper clutch. The braking setup consists of twin 320 mm discs with 4-piston calipers at the front and a 245 mm disc at the rear with a 2-piston caliper.



Standard features offered on the bike include ABS, Ducati Traction Control (DTC), Engine Brake Control (EBC), Riding Modes, Power Modes, Ducati Quick Shift (DQS), Ohlins steering damper and a lithium-ion battery.
