Looks like i missed out the bus for Ninja 1000, spoke to Kawasaki dealer guwahati yesterday and found out the dec deal but they do not have any bike in stock. As per the dealer it will take minimum of 20 days for the bike to arrive, it will be jan till then and he can not guarantee extension of the current offer in january.

Haven't sales of the Street Twin fallen since the launch of the RE twins? I'm not sure even this is good enough of a deal for a Street twin. A Speed Twin makes a lot more sense IMHO.

KTM 790 Duke available with up to INR 1 lakh discount

Quote:
As part of the New Year offer, KTM is offering the 790 Duke at a discount of up to INR 1 lakh for a limited period. The highest displacement KTM motorcycle in the Indian market was launched at an ex-showroom price tag of INR 8,63,945 ex-showroom Delhi.

Apart from the limited period discount, buyers can also benefit from KTM_UPSHIFT program that offers flexible finance schemes. Do note that the KTM 790 Duke available on discount is the BS-IV variant of the roadster motorcycle. The 799 cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled, 8-valve, DOHC engine is tuned to deliver 105 hp of peak power and a maximum torque of 87 Nm. The feature list comprises full-LED lighting, full-colour TFT instrument console and a comprehensive electronic package.
The KTM 790 Duke is currently available in just nine cities – Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Guwahati, Surat, Delhi, Hyderabad and Chennai. The Indian arm of the Austrian two-wheeler brand will increase the availability of the roadster segment motorcycle to over 30 cities by April 2020. The next phase will bring the BS-VI compliant variant to our market.

Re: KTM 790 Duke available with up to INR 1 lakh discount

Bound to happen, they launched it with a wrong pricing, that too a model which world over is getting upgraded. They even had told this was a limited number model to be sold and what happened, still the stock remains? Hope KTM India has learned it's lessons.

Hi, Thanks for this update.

To OP / Mods. Just a suggestion. Perhaps you could consider moving this post to the thread below so all price changes and discounts are in one place. Please feel free to delete my post if that is not the case and this is better placed in a standalone thread. Thank you.

Re: KTM 790 Duke available with up to INR 1 lakh discount

If KTM intends to continue selling the 790 Duke in India (bs6) then they should do the sensible thing and reduce ex-showroom prices. Just offering a discount does not reduce road tax or insurance which are very expensive now.

Re: The "NEW" Superbikes & Imports Price Check Thread - Track Price Changes, Discounts, Offers & Dea

Triumph Street Triple RS carries a discount of 50K in cash and the usual Arrow exhaust as per the local dealer. I'm still waiting for the BS6. That little of a discount simply isn't worth getting the pre face-lifted model. Just thought I'd try my luck again. Looks like nothing has changed in the last two months.

Definitely will be. Aside from the bikes already in Bangalore, there are a few more at their central location. Considering they are all BS4 and basically an unknown brand, come March you could probably write your own price.

A friend of mine bought the first (and probably only one sold) in Bangalore, I've ridden it for a bit and it's actually a pretty good bike - maybe another couple of lakhs off and it would be convincing. But it would be a buy and keep forever bike because no one is ever buying it from you.

True. I first heard of them a few months back and was shocked to know they were launched way back in 2018. All old tech sold at high end prices not a great combo. I wouldn't want to buy such an expensive bike with practically no service network to speak off.

A bit of spell check would have helped...
Decent looks but no way would it entice anyone to buy it. Needs a further reduction for sure.

MV Agusta ends partnership with MotoRoyale – Discounts up to Rs 6 lakhs

In India, MV Agusta mainly sells four models: Brutale 800, Dragster 800 RR, Turismo Veloce 800 and F3 800. Ex-showroom prices start at around Rs 15 lakh and go all the way up to Rs 22 lakh. At one point, the top-of-the-line limited-production MV Agusta F4 RC was also on sale in India. With an ex-showroom cost of around Rs 50 lakh (on-road: more than Rs 60 lakh), there is only one example of the F4 RC in the country. With the current confusion in business and finance, you may find a good deal for the standard motorcycle range at one of the seven Kinetic MotoRoyale outlets across the country
