I am told that is the approximate cost to get the permission to use the bike in MH for 6 months or 1 year or something. Perhaps it also includes some nominal admin charges although that is more likely covered in the standalone entry for handling.

I think BBT has got it wrong this time. They will have a hard time selling these 24 bikes in a respectable time frame. Any delay will have to be compensated with discounts and might end up loosing some money in the whole deal

Very well said. BBT knows their customer. their business model is set up around their customer. They have a relationship with them, and keep selling, and buying back their cars. maintaining, and cleaning them too

Likely purchased from Thailand factory and imported with significantly less duties thanks to free trade agreement between India and Thailand. And since it's not a current bike and neither you can get a new vehicle loan on it is not a threat to dealers and the target market.

Its a typo here. Ad clearly mentions fuel type as petrol. And as far as I know there is no manufacturer producing diesel engines for two wheelers in current market. Definitely Ducati is not selling a diesel motorcycle.

Its a special edition of the Diavel. Quoting from another website

BBT got 4 pieces of the Diesel limited edition of which I am told 3 are already sold.

On a related note, a few weeks ago I was at the Mumbai Ducati showroom and saw a Diesel Diavel in the flesh - customer bike waiting for delivery. Quite nice looking. Love the seat color and the brushes of bronze all over.

Diesel is the name of the variant. Not fuel type
