DIY Training Session for Ducati owners @ Kochi dealership

Ducati conducted a DIY training session on 18.July.2019 at their Kochi Dealership. It was informative and was conducted excellently. At the end of the session, they gave a certificate. Seems they are pretty serious about doing business in India.

Come to think of it, our group at Kochi has more than 100 members. Way to go Ducati.

Let the below pictures talk.

Nice, I remember Kawasaki had conducted the same for the Ninja 250 owners many years ago, 2010 or 2011 types. They had also shared a DIY manual for basic tasks. Wonder if they still do that, but its a great initiative which all companies to take.

Kawasaki dealership at Kochi conducted classes for first aid and road safety. The Road safety session was conducted by the RTO and we were provider with Safe Biker Card. This was in the year 2017.

Since then no initiative heard from them.

The same was conducted in Pune about month or two back. It was a good and informative session. Most importantly they gave information about basic servicing like oil change, of clutch cable change. They as gave information on allowed specs of oils and other consumables to use along with alternatives if you cannot find Ducati recommended stuff.
Overall couple of hours well spent....

Must compliment Ducati for understanding the importance of engaging with customers . Here is a thread on one of the many track days held for Ducati owners - link (Ducati Riding Experience Track Days to be held on October 13-14, 2018). Very few brands get it, and even fewer do it so well (Mahindra Great Escape comes to mind).

Not just track days, they conduct long rides too. They recently conducted a Mumbai Goa Konkan Ride.

Now comes the big daddy, Spiti Ride, 26th Aug 2019 to 2nd Sep 2019.
