Re: Triumph Daytona Moto2 765 Limited Edition : Bookings Open

Thank you bigron for your kind words It was melodramatic; thought of deleting the post but let it be. As my chumbak magnet on the fridge says "Good things are going to happen".

Also planning to get a CGT 650, till I have enough dough for a proper sports bike. You think I should or save that too? I'm also thinking of the GSX S750, Z900.

Re: Triumph Daytona Moto2 765 Limited Edition : Bookings Open

What bike to get depends upon how you intent to use it. You really want to ride and tour or only use it for weekend breakfast runs? Are you going to be solo or two up? Do you do inter state and highways or only short city rides?

Once you have answers to the above questions, then the question to what bike to get arises.
The 650 from RE is a massive upgrade for the company. It does its job well as long as you define that job. Beyond this, its all animated discussions unless you yourself define the purpose of getting an upgrade.

- Ride and tour. Breakfast runs too
- Mostly solo. 2 up for some breakfast rides or say a Bangalore-Mysore ride
- Inter state highways

I understand most sports bikes have a committed seating position. I'm pretty sure I'll get comfortable once I start riding regularly (hence the GT650). I'm bored of the laid back position.

Mods: Apologies if this thread is going in another direction
