According to a media report, certain Kawasaki dealers have started accepting bookings for the 2020 Ninja ZX-14R. The new version is expected to be offered in limited numbers.



The 2020 Ninja ZX-14R comes in a new dual-tone colour of Metallic Diablo Black and Golden Blazed Green. Mechanically, it is identical to the 2019 model.

The bike is powered by a 1,441cc, 4-cylinder engine that produces 207 BHP @ 10,000 rpm and 158.2 Nm @ 7,500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The braking setup consists of twin 310 mm discs at the front and a single 250 mm disc at the rear.

One of my all time favourite motorcycles is finally back! Just love the way it looks although it's a little less green for my liking now. I just hope kawasaki does not discontinue it before I can ever afford one Definitely one of my top 5 dream bikes.

This is losing relevance just like the good ol' Busa. An extremely competent machine in its day and took the fight right uptill the end and eventually topped the open class category.
Very comfortable, brilliant handling for its size and insanely fast.

The charm of old school big bore NA engines is still unmatched.

And the time has come. Kawasaki has announced that the ZX14R has been discontinued, with sales ending by 2020.

I am sad to see this one go. I extensively rode a 2006 model zzr1400. It was a sublime bike.

With all the forced inductions and emissions taking over, NA big bore motorcycles are all but dead. How I remember the time when a zzr1400 or a busa in your rear view mirror would make a r1 or a cbr1000 run for cover or for that matter any thing on 2 wheels.

These new razor sharp crotch rockets with so much electronic aid and computers will allow any jack to go insanely fast very safely but they all lack any character or soul.
