2022 Husqvarna Norden 901 unveiled globally

Husqvarna has unveiled the 2022 Norden 901 for the international markets. The adventure tourer was first showcased at the EICMA 2019 in its concept form.



The 2022 Husqvarna Norden 901 has an 899cc, parallel-twin engine that has been tuned to produce 98 BHP @ 8,000 rpm and 100 Nm @ 6,500 rpm. The engine features forged camshafts, steel intake and exhaust valves, a hydraulic cam chain tensioner, etc. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox accompanied by an assist-and-slipper clutch. Husqvarna is also providing a quick-shifter as standard.



For the suspension, the Norden 901 has 43 mm USD fully adjustable WP Apex front forks and linkage-free, spring-preload and rebound-damping adjustable WP Apex shock at the rear. The motorcycle runs on wire-spoke wheels (21-in front and 18-in rear) with tubeless rims. The braking comes from 320 mm dual front discs with 4-piston, radially-mounted J.Juan calipers and a 260 mm rear disc with a 2-piston, floating J.Juan caliper. Cornering ABS with Street and Off-road modes is offered as standard.



The 2022 Husqvarna Norden 901 comes with 3 riding modes - Street, Rain and Off-road. There is also an optional Explorer mode. The adventure tourer also has Cornering Motorcycle Traction Control (MTC).

Anyone have a clue if this will ever come to India? It has been more than a couple of years and still no news of even the 790/890 Duke Adventure coming here so, i am not very optimistic but one can always hope.
