Team-BHP - The story of my Kawasaki Z1000

Such an exhaustive, well written and passionate review of 2 lovely motorcycles, congratulations on the machine!
What i loved even more was that many pictures felt so aesthetically pleasing and actually well shot, can pass for magazine shots and what's even better you did not ruin them by putting an ugly watermark around them, i have seen people with much, much worse photographs using that which is ironic because why would anyone want to steal those photographs. :p
I will steal a couple of your shots though and use them as wallpapers or something.

Thank you, Neil. Trust me, the reregistration was just a temporary difficulty. Now that it’s over, I’m enjoying the Z with no worry in my mind about cops stopping me for registration issues. Thank you for the kind words, I shall keep updating the thread for time to time.

When I was in India, one of my cousins had a Z800 (and I used to own a triumph Tiger 800). When we went on breakfast rides, I would get to ride the Z. To me it was hard to comprehend how smooth that inline-4 motor was! He had the Acrapovic full system installed and it was music to the ears (and the heart!). I can only imagine what the Z1000 must feel like.

Can you please DM me details of that bike cover thing you have? I have a 350 Jawa Twin back in India which I would like to park in exactly such a thing.

Your bike looks delicious! And your photos do ample justice to the beauty of the machine.

An inline-4 is super creamy, and it's one of the best experiences to have on two wheels.

Please do share some videos of a ride, would love to hear what the exhaust sounds like above 6k.

Hey thank you. Yes I will record a proper exhaust once the lockdown is lifted. I have a few standstill videos of a few revs.. but they aren’t anywhere near how good it sounds when it’s on the move! Especially about 6k it’s proper eargasm!

congratulations on the Z. Kartik is a very dear friend and when he did put the bike on sale he sent me the details and I was considering the bike, but then for some reasons i wasn't convinced with it. So i went ahead and put my money on another motorcycle. He keeps his bikes very well so you have definitely ended up with a superb motorcycle. Enjoy and ride safe.
