The S variant in 1260 avatar is 1.8L more expensive as compared to Std. The changes here are almost the same.
Hope they price it right as well as undercut the upcoming Tiger 900 GT.

Crazy Pricing! Buyers be braced for buying the V4 multi Strada at 30 lakhs plus, looking at these prices. It is not even funny anymore. Premium bike manufacturers should look at triumph Rocket III prices to understand what's supposed to be acceptable pricing for their products.

More than the buying cost of these Italian/German two wheel beauties it is the maintenance cost that is a bigger worry. A friend recently picked up a 1200 Enduro which the Mumbai showroom had registered on their name as they were unable to clear their BSIV stock before the deadline. He mentioned the first service cost will be 30K Imagine the cost when major parts need to be replaced

In that respect I don't know why the Versys 1000 is not on many people's shopping list. It's 13lac on road, costs about 12k to service ( cheaper outside rather than Kawasaki) and parts and easily available. Somehow am seriously considering it as my next upgrade over the 950 when I think of adding an adventure tourer with my ninja 650 in the next couple of years.
