The Triumph Bonneville T100 Black and T120 Black will be launched on June 12, 2020.



The T100 Black and T120 Black get blacked-out parts. These include black headlight and indicator housings, black exhausts and wheel rims. The front and rear shock absorbers are also finished in black.

The Bonneville T100 Black is powered by a 900cc, twin-cylinder engine that produces 54 BHP @ 5,900 rpm and 80 Nm @ 3,230 rpm. The engine is paired with a 5-speed gearbox.

The Bonneville T120 Black is powered by a 1,200cc, twin-cylinder engine that makes 79 BHP @ 6,550 rpm and 105 Nm @ 3,100 rpm. This engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission.

Only when ASS is sorted out maybe then folks will think about owning a triumph(bangalore being most guilty)... Heard a lot of horror stories from people in this forum about it

Great to know about Triumph's new launches in the offing this weekend. Their publicity is not at all good. Other bike and scooter makers refresh existing models and create a lot of hype and hoopla with their pre-launch publicity on the media.

With the TVS-Triumph link in sight, we only hope TVS leads in publicising and properly marketing Triumph bikes in India and the world over.

As I keep on saying, Triumph did not seek any mileage or publicity of its Bonneville being used by celebrity Aditya Kapoor, son of Yahoo Late Shammi Kapoor, for a 35,000 km world tour with flawless performance, just two years ago. As Aditya quipped, other than an oil leak on the front suspension, there was no other glitch of any kind, which is exceptional per se.

We hope Triumph's two new launches get a good response at the showrooms.

Even I was surprised they did not make more of this. That was quite an epic trip for him to undertake. I recall they organised some chat with him after the trip at the showroom but not a patch on what could have been.

I do find the Bonneville range is getting ridiculously expensive. I really can't imagine these warranting anything more than 10L on road at best.

Triumph Bonneville T100 and T120 Black Edition launched

Triumph has launched the Black Editions of the Bonneville T100 and T120 in India. The bikes are priced at Rs. 8,87,400 and Rs. 9,97,600 (ex-showroom) respectively.



The T100 and T120 Black Edition are inspired by the 1959 Bonneville. The former is available in Jet Black and Matt Black colour options. The bike has black wheel rims, matt black exhaust and blacked out engine covers.

T120 comes in Jet Black and Matt Graphite colour options. It comes with a dark brown seat, black rims, grab rail, black exhaust and black engine. It has black engine covers with machined aluminium detailing.



The T100 Black is powered by a 900cc, twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that develops 54 BHP @ 5,900 rpm and 80 Nm @ 3,200 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.

The T120 Black uses a 1,200cc, twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that makes 79 BHP @ 6,250 rpm and 107 Nm @ 4,000 rpm. It comes mated to a 6-speed transmission.

Both bikes come with ABS, ride-by-wire, traction control, torque assist clutch, USB charging socket, engine immobiliser and twin-pod instrument clusters.
