| Re: Ducati Streetfighter V4 launched at Rs. 19.99 lakh Considering their outrageous BS6 prices, the announced numbers for the Streetfighter V4 are slightly below what I was expecting it to be. Good job Ducati! I just compared the on road prices of the other recent launch in the segment, the Triumph Speed Triple RS, with the Ducati, for the Indian and UK markets. The price difference between the two in the UK is 19.23% in the UK and it is 17.93% in India. For that price premium, the Ducati gives you 30 more BHP (just over 17%) than the Triumph, with the same torque and same weight. I think Triumph India got a little greedy with their pricing of the Speed Triple RS, it should have been around Rs 15 - 16L ex showroom. Now they will find it very difficult to sell them when the Ducati is just a short hop away in pricing. Here is the on road pricing from the Delhi dealership.  |
