Italian superbike maker, MV Agusta has revealed the 2021-iteration of its limited-edition Rush 1000 model. The superbike is based on the Brutale 1000RR and is limited to just 300 units.
The Rush 1000 is one of the most aggressive looking hyper naked bikes the company has produced. It has a circular LED headlamp with bar-end mirrors, quad exhaust tips and a dish-like rear wheel.
At its heart is the same 998cc, liquid-cooled, DOHC, 4-cylinder engine that develops 205 BHP @ 13,000 rpm and 116 Nm @ 11,000 rpm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
MV Agusta has reworked the chassis for the 2021 model year. The bike now rides on Ohlins suspension and comes equipped with dual 320 mm disc brakes at the front and a single disc at the rear. Additionally, the Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) has been updated and now features cornering functions as well.
The 2021 MV Agusta Rush 1000 is shipped with a race kit that includes an SC exhaust and a dedicated racing ECU. These upgrades are claimed to increase the power output to 209 BHP.
Looking at the rear seat design and placement of the rear footpegs its the pillion who is going to experience a different RUSH more than the rider :D
Got the MV official email last night about the unveiling of the Rush. I thought aloud not another Rush!!! They just released this back in 2019 - 2020 with the 300 model exclusivity factor. I really hate that stupid rear wheel cover.

Starting at €39000. At that price I hate how aftermarket looking/custom modded the headlamp is.
I have seen this bike in person at Motorcycle Live in 2019. It is indeed a garage queen and I can drool by looking at it all day. Needless to say the MV Agusta stall had placed a 'Do Not Touch' board on it.
Sigh! Glad I could capture some pictures of it at least. ❤️
