Ducati India has released a teaser image of an upcoming bike on social media. It seems the bike maker could be gearing up to launch the Hypermotard 950 BS6 in India.



The Hypermotard 950 is based on a trellis frame. The bike comes with a flat seat and wide handlebars offering an upright yet aggressive riding position.

The Euro5 compliant Hypermotard 950 uses a 937cc, V-twin engine that produces 112.4 BHP @ 9,000 rpm and 96 Nm @ 7,250 rpm. The BS6 version is expected to offer a similar level of performance.

The bike comes equipped with a 4.3-inch TFT display and has riding modes, power modes along with safety aides like cornering ABS, traction control, wheelie control and a six-axis inertial measurement unit.

Now this is something I love, theoretically (considering only the looks, internet knowledge, YouTube videos and reviews). It's easy to love the Multistradas or Panigales but Hypermotard is just something so special and unique in my eyes and I'd love to own one and never let it go.

Pictures have been officially released and she looks very pretty! I have always wanted one Hypermotard for it's usability compared to pure sportsbike like Panigale and it been lighter also makes it more sweet

Ducati Hypermotard 950 BS6 to launch on November 10

Ducati India is preparing to launch the Hypermotard 950 BS6 in the country. The Italian motorcycle giant took to its social media channels to announce that it will introduce the new bike on November 10, 2021.



Powering the Euro5 compliant model of the Ducati Hypermotard 950, that’s already on sale in the international markets, is a 937cc, V-twin engine that produces 112.4 BHP @ 9,000 rpm and 96 Nm @ 7,250 rpm. Expect the BS6 model for the Indian market to have similar output figures.

The Ducati Hypermotard 950 weighs 178 kg (dry) and has a wheelbase of 1,493 mm. Its seat height is set at 870 mm. For the suspension, a pair of 45 mm fully adjustable USD forks handle duties at the front and a pre-load and rebound damping adjustable mono-shock is fitted at the back.

A lovely lovely bike. Super fun to ride. A friend owns a 2020 model and I never say No to any chance of taking her for a spin and have some rowdy fun on her.
To my mind the RVE model makes a lot more sense considering the price. The SP (despite the goodies) is rubbing shoulders with the wrong competition at that price.
