Re: Turbo-charging my Harley Davidson Fat Bob

First of all congratulations on this amazing project!

Since you are considering pan India rides to document the journey, I suggest you go with something rugged, compact and reliable such as GoPro action camera. With a plethora of camera mounts, you can document from various angles. I’ve been using GoPros since nearly half a decade and have no major complaints.
Insta 360 cameras are sort of the current pick amongst lot of vloggers / travelers as some of the 360’ footage look fabulous. There are other action cameras too from DJI, Sjcam etc. Personally, i would get a GoPro (series 8-10) depending on budget.

You will also need to invest in good microphone setup as most of these cameras wont capture clear speech and reduce background noise on their own. Plus some high speed memory cards and hard drives to shoot and backup everything.

You can pick up the camera and peripherals online or from a nearby wholesale market such as in Delhi.

Awesome project, wishing you the very best! Had a few questions

1. Injectors? What are you planning? Or the stock ones would be flowing sufficiently at your desired boost levels

2. Your exhaust? Stock material good enough to handle the egt's?

Nope, upgraded to Harley Davidson screamin eagle 5.5gm/sec injectors. There are various knowledgeable people on you tube that list out the golden rules for Injectors upgrade according to target horsepower. Richard Holdner is one of them. Also there is also a cool plot of horsepower vs injector flow rate on fuel moto 5.5 gps is good for 150 bhp, we are targeting 140.
Most austenitic steel alloys with chromium content are good for high temp creep strength and also provide decent corrosion resistance. Specifically ones with high chromium content. I am using grade 310 stainless steel dom tube for exhaust.

Re: Turbo-charging my Harley Davidson Fat Bob

So, finally all turbo manifold and exhaust pipes are manufactured and are being sent to delhi for Chrome plating. Hope to get them back in 7-8 days.
Now some electronics work can start in the mean time.

Re: Turbo-charging my Harley Davidson Fat Bob

Got the Tmap sensor pin out and drawing. Also have the characteristic curve, kpa vs signal curve. Will compare it with stock 1 bar sensor and apply appropriate scaling factor in tune.
