Harley-Davidson has released a teaser of a new Sportster variant. The bike will be unveiled on April 12, 2022.



The new variant is expected to be positioned below the Sportster S. Looking at the teaser, the bike appears to have a circular headlamp with a shroud around it. It has a low-slung seat and could get bar-end mirrors.

The new Sportster variant is likely to be powered by Harley's Revolution Max engine. Rumours suggest that it could get a 975cc unit instead of the 1252cc block that powers the Sportster S.

Other details on the lower spec Sportster include alloy wheels with slimmer tyres, disc brakes and a more conventional dual-exhaust setup.

Seems all the rumours were correct. It's powered by a 975cc V twin making 90 bhp and 95 nm of torque.

Already on the HD India website so we should be seeing this on the roads in India soon.

Harley-Davidson Nightster makes its global debut

Harley-Davidson has taken the wraps off a new model called the Nightster. It is part of the brand's 'Sportster' range and is powered by a 975cc liquid-cooled V-twin engine.



The Harley-Davidson Nightster is based on a tubular chassis, with the engine being a stressed member. The bike weighs 218 kg, which is lighter than the previous-gen bikes.



The Nightster features a circular LED headlamp with a shroud around it. It has the classic teardrop-shaped fuel tank, bar-end mirrors, and a low slung seat. The bike comes with a single side-mounted exhaust and rides on 7-spoke alloy wheels.



The 975cc, V-twin engine develops 89 BHP @ 7,500 rpm and 95 Nm @ 5,750 rpm. The suspension setup includes a 41 mm Show telescopic fork at the front and a monoshock at the rear. It gets disc brakes at both ends.



The Harley-Davidson Nightster is expected to be launched in India in the near future.
