This is nothing new! They always say that they are EVALUATING THE POSSIBILITY of introducing superbikes.

Yamaha is another company that always has this statement in their press meets.

The reality? Expect the 100cc bike, and the 125cc bike to roll out of Honda factory within three years (And then also, they'll declare that they are evaluating)

Big deal... if they do not generate some juicy soundbites in their press conferences then the hacks do not turn up. They need to do that just to generate some interest as well as to keep themselves in the fray in the market. Goldwing, in India...

You know what they said during Gladiator launch??? That the bikes shares parts with the Yamaha R1.

No no, not the engine, the side indicators.

If 100cc and 125cc may take 3 years then imagine the launch of 1000cc which is 10 times the capacity .. lol

Honda Goldwing for 10 lakhs??
Is that the correct price..
I think it has to be more..With a 1600CC engine. And some of the features that are only available in cars..Like an A/C...A cd palyer..And even a reverse gear..
10 Lakhs is too low for Goldwing..

It is possible for CBR1000 to cost about 10 lakhs..
By the way at what price do you get her if its imported?? I mean the CBR

Zzz... Boring news. Don't call it whopping 10 lakhs. 10 lakhs is the price of the 1000RR, the Goldwing would deinitely cost more.

@SRK. The price for a Gold Wing in Singapore is about 18000 USD. A CBR 1000 in India will work out to about 8.5 L.

Well according to what the officials told me - there are 1200 cc and 600 cc versions coming up costing 12 lacs and 6.5 lacs. Coming really soon they said , maybe within a year. I don't know what to say now.

They will launch it within an year, around the same time Harley Davidson guys manage to cut the import tariffs and get down to launching HD bikes.

If within an year, HD will not be able to launch their bikes in India then the americans will stop importing Alphonso mangoes.lol
