The Z H2 is the naked version of the mighty Ninja H2. The bike features an exposed frame with an aggressive front fairing and fuel tank. It has a split seat, a chin fairing and a single side-slung exhaust.

The Ninja Z H2 and Z H2 SE pack a suite of electronic aids, including cruise control, riding modes and power modes, traction control, a TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, and full-LED lighting.

The 2023 Ninja Z H2 and Z H2 SE are powered by a 998cc, 4-cylinder supercharged engine that develops 197.2 BHP @ 11,000 rpm and 137 Nm @ 8,500 rpm.

The Ninja Z H2 comes equipped with Showa SSF-BP front fork and an adjustable Showa rear monoshock. The SE variant gets Showa's Skyhook technology along with Kawasaki Electronic Control Suspension. Both variants get dual 320 mm discs at the front and a single 260 mm rotor at the rear supported by ABS.

Re: 2023 Kawasaki Ninja Z H2 launched at Rs 23.02 lakh

This bike looks so ugly. IMO the older Z1000 was so much better looking than this monstrosity. The proportions somehow just look off. The only reason to get this bike is to experience a turbocharger in action. Nothing else. The handling is strictly ok and the looks are very polarising but if you want a factory fitted turbo beast this is your only option.

Geez! Somebody tell these guys that the Transformers school of design thinking is well and truly in the rear view mirror. Or should be. That’s a monster of a bike that really does look unfortunately monstrous.

A hideous creation indeed. They could shave off some weight as well if they got rid of all that unnecessary frontal mass.

Different take here

I love how she looks, a monster has to looks monstrous not like a dainty damsel Gorgeous, ugly and menacing at the same time. I would change the exhaust to an Akrapovic, that’s all.

Cheers

This bike is so ugly compared to the normal H2. Only USP is the supercharged engine. If spending that kind of money, the S1000R or the Ducati Streetfighters look so much better.

Rightly said. In the same way Ducati Streetfighter is also not that good looking per se. It is also a mean looking one.

Only BMW fairs somewhat respectable in this category but it is quite underpowered compared to these 200 bhp monsters.

If at all there is a grouse, it should be against its preposterous mass. Compared to competition Z H2 weighs ~ 20 to 30Kg more.

Well, looks like I am in the minority who loved the bike.
It looks like a beast, ready to pounce. A mere look would scare the smaller animals (bikes) on the road.

Design is too noisy, sort of like the previous gen City Type R! But I think Kawa can improve this massively with some small touches like making the frame black and giving the side plastic pieces some smoother lines.

Guess there is only one in India and that too down South. So, to spot one on the Indian streets with its look and power will be equal to spotting a 'Unicorn from Hell'

Re: 2023 Kawasaki Ninja Z H2 launched at Rs 23.02 lakh

This bike is still one of the bikes I would love to have in my garage. In fact, when they first introduced the older generation bike, I did go down to my Kawa dealer to enquire. What put me off is that they wanted me to put down the ENTIRE ex-showroom price and then wait 8 months for delivery.

In fact, I was ok to put down a token deposit of around 5L and wait for the delivery. But apparently Kawasaki India would not have it in any other way. That way, kudos to BMW - I only paid 2L as pre-launch booking advance and waited 7 months. I paid the remaining amount only a few days before delivery.
