@mugen_power: Thanks. I have some more pics but no R1s.. Reason being the R1 is the most common of all SBKs in Bangalore. I generally develop a quick aversion to common stuff. Even though the '07 R1 looks killer, there are too many of them on the street now (compared to other SBKs).

@speedy: Was only half-serious about the thread thing. The owner of the Shadow is the old guy you see next to it. As the caption says, he took it to the track but was joyriding as all those RRs whizzed past him. I'll say he's got some n**s taking to the track at his age. His son, Stan, I think thats what his name is, was also out on the track on his track spec Fireblade. The most shocking part was later in the day when they exchanged their bikes. Couldn't capture it since someone else had taken off with the cam.

father and son both hit the track, man i wish my father was like that. i would surely have had a power house right now. was the father cruiseing on the race spec Fireblade or opening the throttle.
the R1 is an awsome bike and very nice to ride. i would love to get it when they officially come to india. alot of my friends have the bike in bombay, will try and get pictures when i go to bombay.

From what I remember, his Dad was opening the throttle on the straights(thats where we were) but he was backing off the throttle and getting on the brakes really early, much before the braking point for the C1. But whatever the case might be, that needs some serious ba**s for someone at his age.

doomsday, man i would be cruiseing if someone sent me on the track even in a done up R1, and at that age it is comendable.
