Wish they had launched this bike, would have been a fantastic sports tourer. Coupled with the fairing this might have helped Yamaha in their sales. Missed Oppurtunity I would say :(

Hello,

Today i drove from Mumbai to Ahmedabad on NH8 and crossed a few superbikes going towards mumbai. Some ride or something. Since i was driving i couldnt take any pics or identify most bikes. But i do remember seeing red ducati, green ninja, a blue yamaha, a silver black yamaha. Not sure about last 2 yamaha's models.

Also i saw one bike which had REPSOL mentioned all over it. Any tbhpians part of this ride or any pics?

Was that Ducati an 848 evo? And the Ninja a ZX14R, the 1.4ltr monster?

Honestly, i couldn't identify most bikes. Since they were in opposite direction and at decent speeds i wasn't able to identify the models easily. Could only identify the Makes. I am not sure about the exact count, but there were about 15-18 bikes.

The reason I asked is that it could indeed be some of the BHPians. If its the Ninja monster, it could be insaneroller. And the red 848 evo rider is someone I know who regularly rides with the gang. Not sure if he is a member here but I know him from a different forum.

Here is my ride a Gen 2 Hayabusa(already burt a hole ). I use it to work every day in bangalore unfortunate the traffic doesn't let me cross 60KMPH mark. But then i still have the weekends for longer rides.
