Speedy, I think I saw your 900 being restored by Johnny back in 95/96. If not your's well, it was someone's! Same blue color. Loved that bike. There is a beautiful black CB900 close to where I stay. I see the owner along with his wife on it quite often. Also see his son riding it these days.

Rtech at that point the bike belonged to the first owner neel.he had a blue R1 and now he has a kawasaki zx10r. i must have bought the bike in 2003/4. there also used to be a cb750f same colour witch used to come to johnny for work.
the cb900f is currently with a friend who stays on peddar rd next to jaslok hospital and had painted it red, dont know if he has re painted it. parsee guy.

wow dippy as far as i know neel he was a sports bike person and not a cruiser guy. so this is news to me. he would be looking small on a valkyrie f6.

Its strange. You go all your life not having seen these bikes, then suddenly within a month, you catch a glimpse of two of them!

Rtech i guess we were not looking hard enough. the other pune bike i was telling you about is a no no to touch.

Yamaha FZ6N. i think this looks better than the MT01 also. any idea how much this would cost. i seem to have found a bike i would like to buy in the near future. Rtech any idea of how good this bike is?

The FZ6 would cost around 6.5-7 lakhs new (under TOR). Great bike! Uses the older R6 engine, with a boost to torque lower down.

Wait for a bit and lets see if Yamaha launch the 1000cc version official. If so, that would be a great buy.

Now, what do I have to do to get my hands on the VFR800 in the background! And that ZZR600 makes me remember my ol' Zed. Sniff...

thanks Rtech i did consider the FZ1N but somehow the side exhaust put me off. it would have looked much better with an underseat exhaust like its younger sibling. idealy i like both the R1 the MT01 the suzuki bulevard M109r2 and now the FZ6. i think a garage is complete with a sports and easy rideing cruiser. both have different moods to them. i am in no hurry to buy a bike at this moment. next year i guess when the bikes officially come down. thinking of choices at the moment.

i did not know you wanted a VFR800. A friend in bombay had one and sold it in desperation at a throw away price. he had offered it to me but i did not have the money at that point to pay at one shot.

No speedy, it is the GSX-R 750. Try and search on the net for an 80's 1000. You wont find any as there were none. I see a similar 750 everyday buddy. There was the gsx-r 1100 in the 80s.

Kartik, the 1100 was launched in 1986. Hard to say for sure from the pics posted, but the look of the exhaust points towards this being a 1100 and not a 750.
