Spotted a CB 900 in richmond town,bangalore a couple of days back. In a maroon and off white combo the bike was a stunner to look at. I could not click any pics as i was driving.

Was on reclamation with a friend enjoying the beemers and mercs zooming past, when 2 superbikes a GSX1000r and a Fireblade screamed past us towards sea-link. They were literally red-lined and the sound was just too much. (they easily touched 220-230 before braking)

We left from the spot after 15 minutes and taking the under-pass were going towards Lilavati, just when I saw the two rounded up by the usual nakabandi. I waited for them to roll, gave them a thumbs up for their guts to ride so fast and was trailing them just when a group of SBK's from the opposite side whizzed past us near Lilavati. The Gixxer and Ceeber also took a U-turn and joined them; and I also did :P again trailing them and enjoying the sweet exhaust notes.

They exchanged pleasantries till reclamation and then the group of SBK's bid goodbye and MAN! The sound of 2 ceebers a VFR1200F and 1-2 more SBK's filled up the night and soon the previous two bikes also waved at us and went screaming onto the Western Express Highway.

Those were my friends out for coffee at night. I was to join them, but since i rode early morning i gave it a pass.

Oo. Are both of them fitted with Racefit exhausts? Or only one of them is?
That Fireblade is just too too too loud. I haven't heard such a loud exhaust on an SBK ever.

The Gixxer guy also had an argument with the cops, and I think they were fined too, right? Why was it? Was it cuz of the sound?

1 more question Sir, are SBK's allowed on Sea-link?

They are both fitted with the Race fit. Yes that she is..but there are bikes louder than her in the city.

The cops have a habit to harrass SBK owners as they think owners will get scared and pay them something all the time, easy targets i would say. It would be due to the sound as thats what most guys are caught for. I was not there, so cannot say if they were fined or let off without a fine.

No bike is allowed on the sea link, but you do have (plain clothed and uniformed) cops riding on sea link to cut short their travel time.

Spotted this On Sunday Afternoon at the Sadashivanagar BP bunk. Looks stunning. Did not have a chance to stick around till it was fired up.
