253 bhp hayabhusa

I was checkin out mods for soprts bikes when i stumbled across this--a kit that gives the suzuki gsx 1300-r a mindblowing extra 113 bhp of power (like she needs more power).the kit is made by garrett (the company that makes turbochargers). This kit is primarily a performance exhaust which gives the hayabhusa a bhp boost from the standard 140 to a mindblowing 253 bhp.The only thing that i have been wondering is how the rider keeps control of all that power and isnt there enough torque in the bike to lift up the front end everytime he acclerates hard?

Whats that saying? "BHP - Its never enough!"

Oh I forgot...its an original.

Jokes apart, It will be really really tough to keep the front wheels on the ground with that thing.

I have seen a video with three tricked out busas vs a fully tuned viper. Where the Viper kicks butt
of 2 of em and stays together with 1 (1 with a good driver/rider control). All busas were 220+ BHP.

And yes GTO I agree with the saying.. Though I aint tht big a nutt of it myself, but without a question am
a part of it's Team.. the Team-BHP.

This is nothing guys I checked out a video at Dippy's place I saw a BUSA with whooping 500 BHP ......... now howz that for BHP crazy ...
That man was not able to keep front wheel on ground as rightly said by GTO ....
In that very video another bike i dont remember the name was doing something like 320 kmph this guy on Busa passed him as if that guy has just started to roll ......
But 500 BHP man .....Driving on such high speeds and that too with one wheel off the ground .... Skills man .... Skills

You've gotta own an airfield for that and hope it has a really long straight. Dude, even Formula 1 cars didn't touch that speed at Montreal.

Hi,
can you give us a link as to where you saw the article, because i highly doubt that a 113hp gain can by just a performance exhaust. Its surely a stage 1 turbo kit. Do mention the components and costs involved.

yeah, no longer are the days where a superbikes power was more than enough. Guys here in blore have already the basics, cams, computer, headers, exhausts filters etc etc.... I also have heard rumours that a turbo busa that was on sale in dubai has been bought in bangalore... not confirmed news... but in the future seeing bikes like this in india will be sure.... In fact bangalore bikerz are already having track racing, all the suberbikes recently (last weekend) went to coiambatore and had an event. Guys were hitting 260kph in the track, knees on the tarmac in hard turns, sparks flying... pretty awesome.. looks like sbk racing too has picked up...

Cheers
Dom

Insane..really insane...when & where will this BHP craze end..But back in the US there are 'busas that altered specifically for the drags, runs on different fuel not surewhat...and can reach really high speeds.

Most of the US drag busas, are overbored to 1600cc, run nitrometh, probably turbocharged and more than 20" rear extension. usually around 550hp+

cheers
