Ducati launches service plans with up to 4 years/30,000 km coverage

Ducati has launched its first-ever Periodic Maintenance Contract (PMC), Ducati Protect, in India. It offers comprehensive coverage for up to 4 years / 30,000 km.

Ducati is currently offering its PMC plans on two models. The Monster and the Multistrada V4 range, which includes the V4, V4 S, Pikes Peak, and Rally variants.

Ducati Protect (+) offers coverage for 2 years / 15,000 km and Ducati Protect (Pro) extends the coverage to 4 years / 30,000 km.

Ducati Protect covers all scheduled maintenance parts and labour charges. The bikemaker promises benefits like cost savings by locking in current prices, enhanced resale value with official service records, and complete peace of mind for riders.

In other words, Ducati’s trying to make more reliable (or unreliable) machines!

So cute that these contracts seem to run out just before the DESMO comes calling

It is a half effort and it shows to the public that they don't have faith in the other bikes.

It’s what other bike and even car manufacturers are doing. It’s makes the services cheaper and Ducati gets the money up front.

It’s doesn’t have anything to do with faith - it’s just another sales tactic. The service centre in Mumbai is extremely customer centric and helpful. Most stories about Ducati in the negative are old wives tales.

Cheers

Agree with you. Unsure about the comments a few posts above (maybe personal experience or sarcasm?), but this type of service/AMC contracts were offered by Triumph (Mumbai dealer only) for all the bike range. And cost savings were mentioned upfront, which made it easier to opt for these contracts. In the four years of my Tiger800 ownership, never had any issue related to the AMCs. In fact, if Ducati is offering this, across pan India dealerships, it is a no-brainer to get one!

I wonder what happens to the customers who are not residing in the same city as the dealership (like me). Also does anyone have any idea about the prices?

Samyak best would be to call the dealership closest to you or where you got your bike from. If you take your bike to them location probably shouldn’t matter.

Cheers
