It surely makes a difference if a bike yields 20 kmpl to a mere 10 kmpl.

manson.
It is just a matter of deep pockets. 10 or 20 does not make any difference. It's a dream to own a SBK, hope i get it fulfilled in this "janam"

Thats funny huh? The one at the speedrun was running Microns too and the one that netchef is talking about also ran the same pipes.

The exhausts can become that color when the bike has fuel problems which that bike had.

A lot more reasons than mere fuel problems iirc.
"fuel problem" can make it sound like issue with the type of fuel.
Its has more to do with the entire state of the engine- intake or exhaust system or timing or all.
I am a total n00b but had read that long, long back.
Some bluing at the headers is a bit desirable at times but not at the endcans, if i am not mistaken.

For almost everyone these are weekend machines, and its not like a couple of hundreds extra would pinch me hard, but it does matter.
Obviously 15-18 kmpl is a dream come true for every car owner, especially when you can propelled to three digit speeds before you can say one, two, three!!
Once you get through the initial few months of ownership, and start riding highways, regular sundays the gas certainly comes into question.

Yeah, its a different bike. Since netchef is spot on, this bike is from Bangalore then and you were saying its not from there. Where did you get it from?
