considering the endurance track in germany, hiranandani is OK.
But better would be the kolhapur track.

Jalsa, I have left you a pm. But, are you intending to buy one to build another car itself, or just have one for spare if the one installed goes kaput?
Kunal, from what i know there is a restriction of 600 cc for the engines, so the 954 would not do.

right, as manson said, 610cc is the limit.
keeping one for spare if this goes goes kaput, (which is quite possible because we have our own custom ECU, and while tuning it, anything can happen)

Chor Bazar can get you anything if you have contacts and money.
But I feel sourcing these would be a bit difficult.
By the way, you could even import the engine, right?

I checked Kurla chor bazaar which is exclusively for automobiles but no find. What contacts do we need?
Importing is one option but its a little bit less reliable although getting the same engine in India is costing us more than double.

Hello fellow BHPians. I am building a car for my college competition. The car is a formula style autocross racer.The design process for this car is almost done and presented to the judges.We are using a CBR 600 engine. This engine has a 82 BHP output. And the total weight of the car comes to 320 kg(dry weight). As this is a racing competition the main focus is to reduce the weight and increase the power output.
The engine we are using is a four cylinder inline 600cc straight from a 1998 CBR600. As this engine has four cylinder inline its intake manifold has four carburetors. That means four air intakes, mountings for four air intakes, air filters. And due to strict rules of the competition we have to install an air restrictor in the intake manifold.All of this setup is getting very complicated and also is increasing the weight of the car. And as the air restrictor is getting installed the power output is also reduced.
To avoid this problem we have planned to remove all the carbeurators and opt for direct injection.Can anyone please suggest me a good place where I can get this installed at a reasonable rate. Also i would like a few suggestions to improve the power output of the vehicleplease:. Thank you.
