Your boss wasted money by buying directly from Yoshimura. The manufacturer never gives any discount to a one off buyer. He should have got it from some other online seller. Besides, he wasted money by buying a Yoshimura. They are too quiet these days. Might as well keep stock.

thanks..
bTw, I'm also considering a 2002 Katana clocked 15k, looks clean, though a new battery and servicing would be done by the seller before handing off.. the pricing he's asking for is 3.2 lacs..
I had pushed my budget even till 3, which according to the market as well, seems a fair price..

What do ya all say..? 3.2 is expensive.. right ?? or is it just me ?

Cheers!

hey Folks!

First I'd like to Thank everyone on this thread and related around for all the help and responses..
Now, the news is that I've finally got my hands on the KaTaNa!! Yes.. That's correct!
I've already guzzled my way through mileage worth 1000 bucks of Petrol.. :P (in 2 days) lol..
Till now, the feeling is just awesome.. however, there are a couple of things bothering me which I'd bring up after understanding them thoroughly and getting them checked from a mech.. but again, I LOVE IT!!

For pics this link should help.. " Katana Pics - Jas "

See ya all around.

Cheers,
Jas.

Stay away from these bikes these days Nikhil. With the DRI cracking down on bikes you wouldnt want to take the risk.

Hey thanks for the tip, I think I would wait a year or so to get a bike. Got to know of a couple of places in Mumbai where we can get legitimate bikes with proper paper work, but its not worth the risk for now.

Ur welcome bro. Why dont you hang on and go in for the New Ninja. Its all legal and a real fun bike. OT> I have a similar garage, 1.3 Flair and the RTR 180 , hoping to add on the Ninja

Sure man I am thinking about the Ninja too, depends on the test ride and help from fellow T BHPians. I may even check out a CBR or a GSX in Mumbai just like that. My brother has been pestering me to buy a 600cc beauty
