When he said 600F he meant one of the first generation ones which would be a 90-92 model and not a F4i ( which is being sold currently also).

a 90-92 model cbr should cost somewhere around 2.75/3, i guess....... and the cbr f series started production in the mid 90's, i think.....

anyways, i had seen a 2000+ model (year of man. & import ) 600 f4i, but the dude was asking 4.5 (above my budget...), and the condition of the bike was suspect- i didn't bother for a test drive after looking at it...

but, if a propah ZX-6R, ZZR 600, 600F4i, hornet 600, R6, etc.... is available at an reasonable price, pm me (alongwith model and price details)...

not too sure but i think an f4i at 4.5 is a steal
veyron the f series has been there since late 80 's . the first one was the hurricane (also known as f) , it was followed by the f2 in 1992 whcih got replaced by the f3 i think in 1996 which was replaced by the f4 and finaly the f4i .
