have u tried this conical bearing set-up on a bike thats a bit more faster, say somethin that can go more than 100-110 kph, I think the steering might be too light with those bearings... again how many bearings do u use??

2 bearings . steering lightness depends on the torque of the stay bolt . Also a damper should work fine with bigger bikes .

Since you have explored the options ... why dont u try designing a gearbox and clutch yourself ?

That might be easier ..

IF i design a gearbox, and a clutch.where in india will i get them made?will some one be willing to manufacture a single piece for me..? designing a gearbox and clutch is not all that difficult, but then actually making them or getting them made is the tough part

yes i will be incorporating single or dual headlights may be something like rocket3,also muffler will go this time for a better one.

Ok. fine . How about a single plate dry clutch and a six speed box ? I can help you with the manufacture .. may be we could even copy the DD6 and mate it to a single plate dry clutch .. how about the idea ?

well that definitely sounds interesting, a copy of baker would surely be a big leap, at least for weight saving and pickup. this bike i will be completing with my current ideas, but surely it can be done with the next project which i am already planning with a turbodiesel .i would be glad to know people who can replicate gearboxes within a non generous budget.thanks

this looks pretty awesome!

In my opinion you should go with the minimalistic look with barely there seats, tank and lights. Let the Machine make the statement on its own.

You could look at the confederate bikes for some references

thats an interesting project you have there. It was quite a task for me to just modify my RD350, this sure brings good memories. Good going man.

Why do you use an ellipsis in place of a full stop?
