Yes there is no idea at all about what happening. But dont worry t-bhp secret agents are spread all over and news will be exchanged as soon as anything happens. And a lil birdie told its gonna happen soon, lots of people opting to pay the full duties on their bikes voluntarily as well.

dude he wont be asked to pay more than 1lac max on a 7 year old bike. He should atleast give it a shot to know the actual amount before considering to let it go like this

No one has been approached directly, its all happening via the dealers. I smell something fishy.

From what I know, the DRI will demand duty that would have been aplicable when the bike was brough in, and no on the present date value.
Also, the govt agencies are known to apply interest on the duty due since the year it was imported and a fitting penalty over the outstanding duty.

That's rubbish. The papers as usual have given wrong information. There are 600 rr's, a gixxer 600 but not 7 R1's.

Woah I can see a lot of stuff going down. Bad news for everyone because even clean bikes could be picked up for no rhyme or reason. I dont understand whats causing this and after so many years.

They had stopped, but if they would have simply listened & not continued ride around then they wouldnt have started fingering again. Serves them right

though we have bhpians all over the country we are not able to get the right information abou this DRI episode.they have a mission for sure which is sure not good.if this is going to go on for long, the only sufferers would be the big manufacturers like honda, yamaha, suzuki.
