Sorry friends, for lying low for so long. The first frame that we made, eventually turned out to be about 20mm short. We miscalculated the offset of the stanchions while mocking up and that showed up after welding. Did not expect myself (and chandan) to make such a stupid mistake! I hit an emotional low, working so hard for over 4 months on this project. Took a week long vacation at Kasauli. Returned back and took a call to do another frame, we have silently been working on it for over a month now and now its reached its final stage of welding again, scheduled for next Sunday.
This time around we hope to get it right and i hope we are back with a bang.

Cheers

Done it, once again !

Yes, i have been hearing all those frantic calls.

Was waiting to get somewhere in the build before posting any thread. As you all know i had to scrap the last frame (at least for this project) because of dimensional errors. We started work on a new frame this time had to be doubly cautious with everything, once all the individual parts were done we checked, checked and again checked till all of us were confident.

Finally welded the frame on Tuesday, 2DEC09. Pics below.
