Picked up a new ride - Ninja ZX-6R Special Edition (pics)

Since I sold my GSX-R 750, I missed having a bike so I went to the dealer last week and brought home a brand new Ninja ZX-6R Special Edition. This is a 2008 leftover model that was brand new. I like the 2008 models more than the 2009 since they have under tail exhaust, which I think looks much better.

That is one sweet looking bike

Special Edition it looks !! More details like cost please. Although I see you are located outside so it is not of much help to us in India as our costs are exorbitant because of the stupid import duties.

BUT nevertheless a beautiful looking bike.

Thank you everyone. As you may know, I live in the USA, so these bikes are not very expensive here. I paid $8700US out the door (including taxes and all fees). I thought that was a good price, and I really like the bike.

I've only had the bike a short while, and I'm still running it in, so I haven't been able to run it through the entire RPM band (redline is at 15,500 RPM!). So far, the bike is extremely smooth and I like it more than my GSX-R 750. Riding position is great, and I'm over 6 ft. tall. The engine is very smooth and sounds great. The brakes are fantastic and the suspension feels great so far, though I have not adjusted it yet. When I ride it more I'll add more updates.

Thanks!
Greg

Congrates, its the fastest on 600 cc class due to extra 36cc advantage, its 636 cc.

Great bike - availability, spares and horrid import duties are something which us guys in India have to live with and only look and drool.

Enjoy and please post a riding and ownership experience and also keep the pic's coming...
