Nitroxx, cool it man..we do have some idea about how this "Import Bikes" business runs in our country. Lets not just make a big deal of it ..after all , tabrez is a fellow team-bhpian, and the last thing we would want is a " :( " from him.

And racing4cure, u have quite a logical story with u . But, the 4.6 lac price tag is really "umbelieveble".

Congrats on the new bike...though you could probably take the engine beyond 6k rpm.....I know a lot of guys over here that have bought new bikes and rode it for the first time on the track....manny of them are still running great after clocking over 60,000 miles.....just make sure you change the oil at regular intervals and flush your cooling system every 6 months to 1 year depending on how much you ride it.

but i think R1 costs about $12000 in united states (about 5.6 lakhs) how do they sell if for 4.6 lakhs then ????? Also, is registration possible for such bikes?

When i saw the 2003 model i fell for its color combination, when i test drive both 2005 and 2003 i felt much better in the 2003.

2003 felt more heavier than the 2005 (and it is) and i felt comfortable on the heavier bike rather than light. And the other part is the power delivery in both bikes is good but 2003 is more smoother than 2005, may be 2003 is not faster than 2005, but it can always be tuned to go as fast as the 2005, as 2003 is not 100% fuel injected and it is flexible to tune this bike. The most important i didnt like any color in 2005.
