The newest yamaha R1 and kawasaki ninja are having the power-to-weight ratio of more than a 1000bhp/ton. I read it a long time ago.

Have the companies really been able to break the 1000bhp per ton barrier?

Its the comparison of the litre class bikes. Hayabusa is bigger by 300cc.

Similarly k1200 is bigger by 200cc.

I believe only kawkers ad R1 have broken the 1000bhp/ton barrier. So they are supposed to be the the leaders in performance.

all bhp on paper is good but how it translates that to performance without loosing most of it on the tramac is what counts. btw the gixxer is the lightest of the litres now

Its the r1 for me ! BUT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! if there was another option - MV Agusta F4 Senna-Edition ! NO 2 WAYS ABOUT IT , I WOULD GO IN FOR THE MV ! And i idolise Senna too ! He was the greatest driver that ever lived and i think no 1 could b as good as he was in his years of racing .
