If I am not wrong, there was a member here, who had written about his purchase, ride experience and accessories on the Bandit, but unable to locate it.

Anyway, in this post there are some Indian ride report links on the Bandit, if it can help you.

The rider 'Old Fox' has had the Bandit for a long time and ridden it in all kinds of conditions for many thousands of kms, so I guess he would be able to give you some valuable pointers if you are seriously looking at this bike.
