Just completed my first long ride. Experience as below.

1. Maximum speed reached - 160km. Bike is stable but without fullmask helmet, it is really tough to see or control the bike

2. But cruising speed - 100-120 km

Planning to go for a 3 day Oman trip end of this month. Hope to gather some more experience.

Regards

Wow, nice buy. Must've cost you half of what we pay here.

Me and V12 seen this at the Harley showroom and were wondering if we should pick one in the near future. For almost Rs 12 lakhs, you don't get much in terms of features. No upside down forks, no gas shocks, no rearsets (although not required), and some more.

You are right Gordon. Too much for too little. But the power is really good bro. Just added a few accessories...

1. Pillion Foot peg : AED500+AED100 for labour chrages - Total AED600 / Rs 7200/-

2. Vince & Hinces Silencer : $550

3. Seat for 2 : $375

Will upload the images shortly

Nice bike! The Nightster is among my favorites in the Sportster family, along with the Forty Eight, but I don't think they sell that in the Middle East.

And I think you meant Vance & Hines. Definitely, definitely, definitely post pictures of the add ons.

Enjoy!

Congrats Milindajp. Happy riding.

Rs.5.3L for a bike (in India rupee value) is simply unimaginable.
Once again happy motoring and do keep the thread updated.

Thanks bro and sorry for the spelling mistake. And Harley do sell Forty Eight in ME region. I too was looking for that, but was a waiting period of 1.5 months. So, I go ahead with Nightster.

I stand corrected, I assumed it wasn't available there since it isn't in India.

Post add-on pictures and video when you get a chance, please.

Thanks!

Pillion foot peg in India came in at 6800. Pillion Seat came in for about 7000, crash guard for about 15K....

SEEMS like the prices except for the US are almost the same... For Example a 'petrol cap with keys' is about 4300-4500 in India, about $50 in the US but about the same value in INR in the UK...

Bike costs, I dont know if they are any significantly different, but the spares- well, accessories atleast- are at par around the world minus the US.
