Ducati revvs into Ahmedabad, Gujarat

Us Gujaratis must have a thing for sports bikes. Ducati inaugurates its third showroom in India, at Ahmedabad! The outlet houses a showroom as well as workshop.

There is something about Ducatis that evokes a passion which a suzuki or yamaha cannot, not for me at least. Good to see Ducati expanding in India.

Re: Ducati revvs into Ahmedabad, Gujarat

finaly the showroom is up. I pass from there almost every other day and keep staring inside. couple of days ago i saw atleast 15 Ducatti's lined up on the first floor of the showroom. CAMA's use the same space for their multi brand car sales showroom. So the monsters were sharing space with S class & Cayenne's.

What a site. it cost me 50 rs to click that pic and the pic also didnt come out well :(
Cop thought i was talking on my cell while driving

And he wasnt even ready to believe i was taking the showroom pic.

That is the first multistrada i have seen in india.Maybe there are more.I simply love that bike. But the legendary unreliability of ducati has kept me back from even thinking of buying one.

Cama Motors has had prior experience with Mitsubishi, Mercedes-Benz, HM and Skoda. I am not how many Ducati's will be sold in Ahmedabad itself. I was pretty satisfied with their service in comparison to daylight robbery from Autonova.

Saurashtra to be precise. The roads are good enough for an F1 race track. Straight Strecthes right by the sea producing zero road noise. Best place to open up the throttle and enjoy the music from the engine.

I had posted one article from TOI few weeks ago where CAMA had confirmed bookings for 20 bikes already for the year 2010. But again the question is "How many will remain in Ahmedabad?" Many bikes are sold in Saurashtra region. People in Ahmedabad are more in Cars than bikes.

That's a great thing I've read. Went to Ahmedabad in January for makar Sankranti but wasn't aware of this showroom. A visit to this heaven is must next time I am in Ahmedabad.

Great pics GTO.
