Re: FZ1 Ownership Thread

Just got the Racefit Growler fixed to the bike. Its freakishly LOUD...people in Cochin better order some earplugs, or kiss your eardrums good bye. Just loving every minute of it.

You can't get away without a proper audition. Go HD on YouTube or SoundCloud

No drop in power or torque, the exhaust was a 5 minute 'Plug n Play' job. Just insanely loud..!! Also the bikes not heating up so frequently, temp just plays around 95 degrees in traffic. And saved a lot of weight, this one just weighs around 900 grams.

Nice one. Thanks!
But it seems to be so loud for daily riding or cruising long distances.

You also get a baffle along with the exhaust which can fixed to reduce the exhaust note, but we didn't get one with the exhaust, just gonna check up with the dealers as the exhaust comes with a standard baffle. With the baffle its gonna bit a less loud, but still can be heard from a mile away. Guess it kills 10 dB's.

How many KM did stock tyres last? and from where did you buy new set?

Did you consider Michelin Pilot Road 2 or CT before finalizing metzeller?

I guess you did this for track day and CSS.

May we have few details on the difference between the tyres and also it will be great if you can write about the CSS experience.

Cheers!

Re: FZ1 Ownership Thread

Exceptional bike and mainly tagging my name to this thread to hear more about this bike as this is in my must buy list for 2013

I like the stance of the bike and the lack of attraction appearing more like a common bike. The indirect camo is one of the reasons why i got smitten with this bike.

Replace the Fz1 stickers with Fz-s and people will potentially ask or say, good modification in looks.

They will not realize what this baby can do when you let it purr at 12K RPM. Beauty.
