Anybody own a 4wd scorpio or have any info to share on the same?

I guess there was a renault engined 116ps 4WD Scorpy.Donno wether it is still in production as there were only very few takers.

As per the co website http://www.mahindrascorpio.com/scorp.../html/html.asp:

"Optional : Borg-Warner Electric 4WD System(7 Seater,BS II only)"
is available in
"Turbo 2.6 DX" only

I'm was looking for any owner's feedback. I felt it was a better package other 4wd offerings.

as far as i know, there arent any 4x4 scorpio owner, even if there are, they arent active here.

Our company does have a 4x4 Scorpio. They do not sell them off the shelf but has to be ordered.

What info are you looking for specifically?

Hi Rtech!

I was basically looking for some ownership experiences. There are plenty with the regular version but I was interested in the 4wd version.
I'm gererally wary of buying things where I might be in a small minority as:
1. The manufacturer wouldn't have had enough feedback to iron out all the bugs
2. The service people wouldn't have much experience with the product

On the other hand, I would get a true-blue SUV with a real go-anywhere capability!

Not an owner of the 4WD but drive one a lot!

Hello,
I had the oppurtunity of taking a Scorpio 4WD off-the-road.

Its a very powerful vehicle, but the drawbacks are.
1) Size & Weight
2) IFS - 4WD

Hi,

I have a 4wd non CRDe model scorpio. I was planning to go for the new model 4wd which is available on request but when i heard that there is a new engine expected, am waiting to see the timelines before i put up my money. rgds
