Yeah, even Id recommend Rangey normal or Sport.

They look much better.

Yes , they are slower, but still plenty fast.

And they are supposed to have some of the best interiors on sale.

I dont recommend BMW over cayenne.
BMW makes great cars, but their SUVs, though good, does not have anything great to offer.
Cayenne has superb handling, its more like a sports car, with advantage of softroaders. But mind it, it isnt a superb off-roader. So, if u looking for an off-roader, dont go for Cayenne.
If u need a good off-roader, go for VW Toureg or Range Rover (not the Sport).
I havnt checked out the RangeRover & RangeRover Sport yet.

BTW, I dont own any of these. Suggested on basis of test drive only.

Dont think any t-bhp member owns a Cayanne..
But why not choose the Audi Q7 or the Touareg with a big engine..
I drove the Cayanne S.. Apart from the sheer performace and thrill of the thrust.. there wasnt anything exciting about the car.. The suspension even in comfort mode was hard..
But thats the only opinion i can give as i drove it only for some 10km..
Cheers

I have driven a Cayenne S and been driven around in one as well as the Turbo. The car is really thrilling to drive plus it an awesome handler which a common virtue with all Porsches. But I must say rear seat is very uncomfortable. Porsche's first attempt at a proper rear seat you see.

I know you wont be bothered by the FE of these cars but if you wanna get a Cayenne get the Turbo. The other alternative you could check out is the Range Rover with that awesome super charged V8 engine or the Audi Q7.

Touareg V10 TDi : 7.8 seconds
Cayenne : 9.7 seconds
Cayenne S : 7.2 seconds
Cayenne Turbo : 5.6 seconds
Cayenne Turbo S : < 5 seconds

I would get myself a Audi Q7 Nothelle Modified, brand new, not in india yet, and even if it comes, nothing would look as cool as that, plus you can get TMS changed and some other stuff to it from nothelle long with the exterior kit and have an awesome car which will out perform the Turbo and be less money..

Take the figure you have in mind, multiply it by 7 and then add 3 to it, and thats the MINIMUM number of cayenne owners who are members on TBHP
