Re: Maruti Suzuki Ertiga vs Toyota Innova vs Mahindra Xylo

Is there any update on the Xylo refresh launched last year. I couldn't find any ownership reviews or first hand ride experiences anywhere. Going by the looks of it, The new Xylo feels much more premium and with the improved suspension, the body roll has also reportedly come down by a decent margin.

I am planning to upgrade from my current "tank" Fiat punto to a 7 seater in the price range of a sedan and as on date, only the Xylo offers best space and comfort with a solid build.

Ertiga and Mobilio appear to be worth a look but I am not very fond of the build quality of both with thin tinny sheets clad around the chassis.

Any details on the Refreshed Xylo will be a great help....

Renault Lodgy may be worthy competitor. Supposedly they are launching it tomorrow.

Thanks for the suggest.
My personal experience with Nissan hasn't been very affirming. I tried to get in touch with Nissan dealership for Duster and took close to a month for the test drive to arrive (this was after the initial rush for the Duster had been taken over by the launch of Ecosport). The patchy service and the tinny build are again, dampeners for me. Lodgy is indeed worth a look if they price it right. However I would prefer going with something that has been tried and tested on Indian roads.

My kids are only too happy with the Xylo's huge cargo space with the third row completely tumbled away, since I am able to comfortably carry their 2 bicycles out to the countryside or parks for their cycling jaunts:
