Given the options in the list, I would vote for the Jeep Compass. I'm in the market to upgrade from my 8 Year old Polo.

Recently test drove the Jeep Compass in the S Trim with the Petrol Automatic, and in that short drive, the 3 of us in my family came back happy. Enough to want to schedule another longer drive to really get a better feel of the car.

The sluggishness of the AT Gearbox is a concern, which I want to truly test, and the lack of boot space is another. We are all fairly short, so back bench was very comfortable for all of us.

Saw the Tucson, but really felt dated after having seen the Compass.

Voted for Compass with love.

I recently TD'ed a Compass Diesel AT and the car felt decent, at least for me though I'm yet to drive the MT version as I didn't get the TD for it on the day I TD'ed the AT version. The 2021 version's interiors felt much better than the prefacelift one.

For me, second one would be Tiguan and third one would be Tucson.

I can't vote yet, but my vote would be for the Jeep Compass.

I have test driven the petrol and diesel and both manual and auto gear boxes. My preference is the 2.0 Diesel MT followed by the 1.4 Petrol MT.

2nd choice will be the Tiguan all space, assuming budget permits.

From the other choices, I like the Safari and Harrier (with the 2.0 Diesel), but not so much the rest: Citroen (value proposition, price), Tucson (looks, interiors), Fortuner (interiors, too bulky for my liking). Don't know much about the Carnival (except that MPV is a turn off for me).

I currently drive Abarth for the past 7 years.

I am all sold on the Compass for its feartures, but concerned about its response times, particularly moving from Abarth.

Recently, test drove the C5 and was quite impressed with the build and better response comparatively.

However, C5 misses few features that Compass has:
- Memory for electric seat adjustments (good chance that it will be driven by more than one person)
- Ventilated seats (to prevent my shirt getting sweaty and sticking to my back, after a summer drive in Chennai)
- 360 camera (Needed considering the nook and corners that I'll have to take this vehicle)

And C5 has a 8 lakhs premium OTR (quoted as 40.8, while Compass is around 32.x)

My heart goes to C5, but the brain reaches out to Compass. Please drive some sense to my heart and convince it to follow my brains

Anyone who had been through the same dilemma and got over it?
