I'm in the same boat as you. I'm looking for a replacement for my 11-year-old Honda Brio. Like you, I have a X3 for touring, so the Brio replacement will be mostly for city use.

Thar is love at first sight. Ever since new Thar was launched I have been dreaming of owning a convertible top. However, the practicality of such a purchase does not justified my current use case.

After Thar, Jimney was the one that pulled on the heart strings. Hope Maruti had got the 3 door version here.

Heart says Thar convertible top but Jimny is more practical due to it's dimensions and discounts on offer.

I can vote all I want on this forum but the real world voting rights belong to the better half.

Voted for Thar but might end up getting a Jimny in the end :uncontrol

Voted for Thar as its 3 doors SUV with great engine / gear box combo. If I wanted a 5 door then would get something outside of these three brands as there are pethora of choices.

Hence question is if one wants a 3 door SUV then what is the choice one can go for? Answer for most will be Thar and for those with lot of budget, Wrangler.
