drop it then - just thought i should share what I heard from my colleague thats all.
frankly when moving to new city it may be better all around to use the opportunity to dump the current vehicle and take an upgrade, register it locally and drive peacefully!
atleast I think thats what I would do.

I think he is taking you for a ride, once you get an NOC your registration is cancelled and prorata tax refunded only to be registered in the moved state, ofcourse with all the taxes etc paid.
