Look up "grand vitara" using the search box here and you can have many inputs. I am very happy with the GV and have used it rather extensively. Mainly people have negatives about two things Power & F.E.

The current model does not have as much as the V6 US models but OTOH it is adequate and impacts a lot on the other point which is Fuel Efficiency: This is more of perception issue as the old GV with V6 engine used to be fuel hungry. They are going to come out with latest model in a short while which is 2.4lt vis 2.0lt engine now.

To me @14lac on the road it was best value proposition. Got styles and looks, is comfortable, great A.S.S network, does decent off roading too.

GM has fixed whatever shortfalls this car had in terms of marketability IMO.
